WICSO Partners with 15 New Institutions Across Europe and Asia
June 28, 2026
DORTMUND, GERMANY — The World International Colleges & Schools Organisation (WICSO) is pleased to announce the addition of 15 new member institutions from 8 countries across Europe and Asia, marking one of the largest single expansions in the organisation's history.
The new member institutions join WICSO from Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, India, the United Arab Emirates, Kenya, Brazil, and Singapore. This diverse cohort includes universities, colleges, and secondary schools, each meeting WICSO's rigorous standards for educational quality and institutional governance.
This expansion brings WICSO's total network to over 135 partner institutions across 18 countries, directly impacting more than 45,000 students worldwide. The new members will have immediate access to WICSO's full suite of benefits, including accreditation pathways, research collaboration opportunities, faculty exchange programs, and international conferences.
Strategic Growth
Ms. Alice Abraham, International President of WICSO, welcomed the new members: "This expansion reflects the growing recognition of WICSO's value in the international education community. These 15 institutions represent some of the finest educational establishments in their respective countries, and we are delighted to welcome them into our global family. Their diverse perspectives and expertise will enrich our network tremendously."
The expansion significantly strengthens WICSO's presence in Asia, where seven of the new institutions are located. Singapore now has three WICSO-accredited institutions, while India adds four new members from major educational hubs including Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi. In Europe, the United Kingdom and Ireland contribute five new members between them, while Germany adds two new partner institutions.
New Research Collaborations
Alongside the membership expansion, WICSO has established new research collaboration agreements that will facilitate joint projects in areas such as artificial intelligence in education, inclusive pedagogy, and cross-cultural assessment methodologies. The newly formed WICSO Asia Research Network will coordinate research activities across the region, with an inaugural symposium planned for early 2027.
Exchange programs are also being developed, allowing students and faculty to participate in cross-border educational experiences. The first cohort of exchange participants is expected to begin placements in September 2026, with opportunities available across all member institutions.
