Our Founding Story
WICSO was founded in 2010 by a group of visionary education leaders who recognized the need for a truly international organisation dedicated to connecting schools, colleges, and educational institutions across borders. What began as informal discussions at an education summit in Europe quickly evolved into a structured initiative with representation from five founding countries.
The founders shared a common belief: that educational institutions, regardless of their location or resources, should have access to international standards, collaborative networks, and opportunities for growth. From this vision, WICSO was born with a constitution that emphasized transparency, excellence, and global cooperation.
Message from the President
"Education is the most powerful tool we have to shape the future. At WICSO, we are committed to building bridges between institutions, cultures, and educational systems. Our network represents a shared commitment to excellence, integrity, and the belief that collaboration across borders enriches every learner's experience. I invite you to join us in this vital mission."
