WICSO ANNUAL REPORT 2025 ========================== World Islamic Countries Organisation for Scouts and Guides MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRPERSON ----------------------------- It is my privilege to present the WICSO Annual Report for 2025. This year has been one of significant growth, achievement, and impact across our member organisations. We have expanded our reach, deepened our programs, and strengthened our partnerships. HIGHLIGHTS OF 2025 ------------------- - Member organisations grew from 42 to 48 across 30 countries - Launched the WICSO Youth Leadership Program in partnership with UNESCO - Conducted accreditation reviews for 12 member organisations - Organised the Third WICSO International Conference in Kuala Lumpur - Published seven research papers on youth development in Islamic contexts PROGRAM ACHIEVEMENTS --------------------- Youth Leadership Program: 1,200 young people completed leadership training across 15 countries. The program has been recognised for its innovative approach to combining scouting skills with community service. Accreditation: 12 organisations achieved full accreditation, 4 received provisional accreditation, and 2 achieved advanced accreditation status. Training and Development: 250 master trainers were certified through the WICSO Training of Trainers program. Over 5,000 volunteer leaders received training through cascaded programs. FINANCIAL SUMMARY ------------------ Total Income: USD 1,850,000 Total Expenditure: USD 1,620,000 Net Surplus: USD 230,000 LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026 ---------------------- - Launch of the WICSO Digital Learning Platform - Expansion of the accreditation system to include e-learning programs - Fourth WICSO International Conference in Dakar, Senegal - Development of the WICSO Strategic Plan 2027-2032 Thank you to all members, partners, and supporters for making 2025 a remarkable year.
