It provides a framework for continuous improvement and demonstrates a commitment to excellence. WHY PURSUE ACCREDITATION? -------------------------- - Enhance the quality and impact of your programs - Gain international recognition for your organisation - Access WICSO funding and capacity-building opportunities - Strengthen governance and management practices - Build credibility with partners, donors, and stakeholders - Join a network of high-performing member organisations ACCREDITATION LEVELS --------------------- - Provisional Accreditation: Entry-level recognition for organisations meeting minimum standards - Full Accreditation: Comprehensive recognition for organisations meeting all standards - Advanced Accreditation: Highest level for organisations demonstrating exemplary practice THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS -------------------------- 1. Expression of Interest: Submit your organisation's interest to the WICSO Accreditation Committee 2. Self-Study: Conduct a thorough internal assessment using the Self-Study Guide 3. Submission: Submit your self-study report and supporting evidence 4. External Review: Host a team of trained WICSO reviewers for an on-site or virtual visit 5. Decision: The Accreditation Committee reviews findings and makes a decision 6. Recognition: Accredited organisations receive a certificate and are listed in the WICSO Directory TIMELINE --------- The accreditation process typically takes 12-18 months from expression of interest to decision.
